Tori Spelling and Shannen Doherty opened up about their most memorable moments during their Beverly Hills, 90210 days.
After reuniting at Steel City Con, Doherty made an appearance on Spelling’s new misSPELLING podcast. The former co-stars randomly chatted about Spelling losing her virginity to then-boyfriend, Ryan Ozar.
“I didn’t lose my virginity until I was over 18,” Tori Spelling told Shannen Doherty. “So it’s not like I haphazardly slept with someone. I thought he was the one.”
As they continued to chat about her relationship with Ozar, Spelling asked Doherty if she remembered the Betsy Johnson dress that she wore for the biggest Beverly Hills, 90210 cast photo.
“It was black, floral…” Tori Spelling recalled, noting she and Shannen Doherty shared clothes.
Doherty replied, “Are you telling me you lost your virginity in my dress?”
To which, Spelling said, “Umm, no, I’m going to say that you wore the dress I lost my virginity in. I told you. What do you mean? I literally said, ‘There’s a blood stain in the back.’”
Shannen Doherty quickly remembered all the details to the story and then said to Tori Spelling, “I loved that dress. It was clean though. I just don’t think they got that stain out or something.”
Continuing to reflect on the dress, Doherty recalled, “We were going somewhere and I didn’t have anything to wear so I borrowed that dress. I loved that dress. And then I got one exactly like it but all black.”
Spelling then revealed what caused her relationship with Ozar to end. “I cheated on him with Brian. That’s how we broke up. I fell head over heels in love with Brian [Austin] Green.”

Along with discussing the now-famous dress, Tori Spelling and Shannen Doherty reflected on what led to their once close friendship fallout.
Spelling admitted that during their Beverly Hills, 90210 days, she was a “swayer,” which she dubbed as her “downfall.”
“You were always so easily swayed,” Shannen Doherty told Tori Spelling. “And it was very frustrating for me because I always used to tell you like, ‘Yeah, Tor, have an opinion.’ Like you’re smart, you’re funny, you’re talented. I loved you and I respected you and I wanted you to believe in yourself as much as I believed in you.”
Doherty then said that the fallout may have been due to Spelling’s boyfriend at the time. “I think it was your boyfriend,” Doherty stated. Spelling then discussed her then-boyfriend, noting he was “abusive” and “an addict.”
Shannen Doherty also remembered she and Tori Spelling going on a trip to Mexico with their then-boyfriends. That was before their friendship had struggled.
“There was a point – I specifically remembered looking at you and saying, ‘You have to end it with him, or I’m going to actually kill him. Like I can’t stand by and watch this,’” Doherty said.
Doherty went on to add that she and Spelling started drifting apart after the trip. “And all I can think is that because you didn’t break up with him. You stayed and you got tortured for a little bit longer.”
