The security footage reportedly came from a Los Angeles hotel. In the video, Combs was half dressed and allegedly beat his ex-girlfriend. Ventura later sued him for assault and sexual assault but later settled out of court.
Well the court of the public opinion is in session, and 50 Cent is the judge, jury, ane executioner. He publicly bashed the musician.
“Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing !” 50 Cent wrote on his social media with a sarcastic tone. “This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all.”
He followed that up by reposting Combs’ statement claiming his innocence. In that statement, Combs fired back against the allegations. He wrote, “LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE AWFUL THINGS BEING ALLEGED. I WILL FIGHT FOR MY NAME, FOR MY FAMILY AND FOR THE TRUTH.”Â
In response to Combs’ statement, 50 Cent also added, “The lie detector test has determined this was a lie…. Maury vibes.” He’s of course reference the infamous paternity test talk show Maury.
Other Celebrities Call Out Diddy
It didn’t stop with 50 Cent either. Other celebrities voiced their disdain for Diddy after the video leaked. Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski called Diddy a “monster.” Meanwhile, Aubrey O’Day, who previously spoke out about Diddy, said, “The picture is getting a lot more clear for you all I can imagine.. abuse survivors or anyone that triggers easily might not want to watch (images are disturbing). #Cassie #diddy #kimporter prayers up for all his victims.”
Meanwhile, Ventura’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor also released a statement to Fox News Digital. He said, “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
It’s worth pointing out Diddy is currently under an investigation after federal agents raided his homes. Former NYPD cop Derrick Parker previously investigated Diddy for a 1999 shooting. He offered his opinion to the outlet tas well.
“This video is very damaging to his case,” Parker said. “This is gonna hurt him badly, because it adds credence to what Ms. Ventura has been alleging about the abuse from him.”
“Everybody’s gonna see this, and they’re gonna see what a real dirtbag he is,” he continued. “The public itself is gonna see him in a different light. The government now is likely gonna accelerate his case.”
