Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s 15-year-old daughter Vivienne has reportedly dropped the “Pitt” from her last name amid a reported feud between the former famous couple.

Vivienne was dubbed “Vivienne Jolie” in the Playbill for the new musical, The Outsiders. This is instead of her legal name, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.
It remains unclear whether or not Vivienne has changed her legal name. She is also not the first of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children to drop the “Pitt” of their name.
Last fall, the former spouse’s eldest daughter, Zahara introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” while joining the Mu Pi Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College.
The name changes come after reported years of strain between Jolie, Pitt, and the six children. Jolie and Pitt divorced in 2016.
Jolie now has sole physical custody of their children Vivienne, Zahara, Knox, Maddox, Pax, and Shiloh. While filing her divorce, Jolie revealed that an altercation on a Sept. 2016 flight led to her decision to split from Pitt.
Sources previously told PEOPLE in 2022 that Pitt hoped to reconcile with his children amid his custody battle with Jolie. They revealed to the media outlet that it has been a “sad situation” for years.
“Since Angelina filed for divorce, Brad has been focused on having the best relationship possible with his kids,” the sources stated. “It’s been very difficult for him. Many times, there have been long gaps where he didn’t see the kids at all.”
The insiders also said Pitt missed the children when he didn’t see them. “He believes there will be a time when he has a great relationship with his children again.”
Security Guard Claims Angelina Jolie ‘Encourages’ the Children to ‘Avoid Spending TIme’ With Brad Pitt
A court filing revealed earlier this month that a security guard who previously worked for Angelina Jolie alleged that Jolie encouraged the children to avoid spending time with Pitt.
The allegation was made during the couple’s legal battle over their French winery Chateau Miraval.
Tony Webb, the security guard who worked for Jolie from 2000 to 2020. After Jolie fired him, Webb went to work for Pitt. He claimed that a Jolie aide, Michael Vieira, called and tried to get him to help convince two bodyguards who worked for Jolie through his company SRS Global not to testify during her custody battle with Pitt.
“During the call, Mr. Vieira told me that he had heard that two contractors who had provided personal security for Ms. Jolie through SRS Global might be testifying in the family court case,” Webb stated. “Mr. Vieira then asked me to stop these two individuals from testifying.”
Webb said he told Vieira that he had no power to stop the bodyguards from testifying. He noted that they were independent contracts and not employees. Vieira then reminded him that the individuals had signed a non-disclosure agreement with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. If they were to testify, Jolie could sue them.
Webb said one of the bodyguards said he would testify if he received a court subpoena. The other bodyguard said he would testify about the statement he overheard Jolie make to the children, encouraging them to avoid spending time with their father.
