Days after Jennifer Lopez officially filed for divorce after months of marital woes speculation, Ben Affleck was spotted hanging out with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter Kick Kennedy.
An insider told Page Six that Affleck and Kennedy were recently seen hanging out at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel and other Los Angeles hotspots. However, the “nature” of their relationship remains unclear, as Kick declined to comment and Ben’s reps haven’t responded.
Kathleen Alexandra “Kick” Kennedy is the second child of Robert F. Kennedy and his first wife Emily Ruth Black. She was nicknamed Kick after her great-aunt, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, who died in 1948 at the age of 28.
Robert F. Kennedy has six children between his first and second marriages. With his second wife, Mary Richardson, he has four children, including Conor Kennedy.
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on Tuesday, Aug. 20. It was reported that the marriage had been over since March, and Lopez listed their separation date as April 26. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the divorce.
Fans began noticing something was up with the former couple after Lopez attended the 2024 Met Gala solo in May. It was reported later that month that Affleck had moved out of his and Lopez’s multi-million dollar mansion and was living in a $100,000-per-month rental closer to his children.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in 2022. The couple previously dated in the early 2000s and went their separate ways in 2004. They reunited in 2021 and got legally married in Las Vegas in July 2022. They had a big wedding in Aug. 2022.
The former couple reportedly did not have a prenup agreement in place.

Following the news that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez officially called it quits, more details about the couple’s marriage struggles began to surface.
Sources told Page Six that the drama began as early as the couple’s honeymoon. Affleck reportedly “freaked out” in Paris after dealing with the paparazzi constantly. The interaction with the phototags allegedly brought back “flashbacks” of why he and Lopez’s relationship didn’t work out originally.
It was also noted that while Jennifer Lopez has no problem being in the spotlight, Ben Affleck prefers to be private when it comes to his personal life. An insider further stated that the Batman star is not “ashamed” of his need for solitude. He is also “proud of the fact that he always has and always will take care of himself.”
“He has never— and seemingly will never— give himself over completely to another person,” the source pointed out.
However, the insider added that a more private life isn’t something that Lopez wants. “The kind of big love Jennifer believes in, that sort of all-consuming devotion? Ben played along for a while and wanted to be part of it, but it’s just not who he is.”
