A United Airlines flight carrying 50 passengers was forced to make an emergency landing just minutes after take off. The incident occurred on May 10 and involved a Boeing 737 plane.

According to The Sun, the plane was carrying 50 passengers and had just left the Fukuoka Airport, which is located in Southern Japan. The plane took off around 11:45 AM and the “wing irregularities” occurred almost immediately.
Once the pilots noticed the error, they reversed course and returned to the Fukuoka Airport. No injuries occurred and investigations into what caused the issues are ongoing.
Boeing 737 Makes Emergency Landing Due to Wing Issues
This particular incident was just the latest to occur involving a Boeing plane. There have been four similar issues that have taken place in the last week alone.
On Thursday, another 737 caught fire before skidding off the runway in Senegal. Passengers aboard were forced to jump to the ground at the Dakar Airport. 15 people were injured, including 4 who suffered critical injuries.
That same calendar day, almost 200 were evacuated after a Corendon Airlines flight had a tire burst while landing. This particular incident occurred in Alanya, Turkey, per The Independent.
One day prior, a FedEx plane, a Boeing 763, crash-landed on its nose after its landing gear failed. This plane was lading in Istanbul from Paris.
