Just before shutting down her Instagram account, Spears unleashed on her family, including accusing them of being responsible for a back injury she previously sustained causing her problems daily.
“I was actually right about nerve damage in my back!!!” Spears stated in one of her last Instagram posts. “I have to get acupuncture every day of my life!!! Words and thinking too much make it worse!!!”
Britney Spears continued to share details about her injury. “If people only knew how I’ve had to crawl to my own door one time!!! My family hurt me!!! there has been no justice and probably never will be!!!! The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!”
Spears continued by accusing her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears of being responsible for her pain. Jamie was notoriously in charge of Britney’s 13-year conservatorship. “The way I was brought up, I was always taught the formative of right and wrong,” she explained. “But the very two people who brought me up with that method hurt me!!! I am so lucky to be here.”
Britney Spears then stated she doesn’t directly speak to her parents face-to-face, but previously used Instagram to communicate. However, she believes it wouldn’t be safe for her to address them face-to-face either. “The child in me knows they would be destroyed and that’s basically it!!!”
Despite what she’s been through, Britney added that she misses her home in Louisiana and wishes she could visit, but her parents took everything.”
Britney Spears Walked About From Conservatorship Dispute With Nothing, Will Be Paying Her Father’s Legal Fees
Although her conservatorship was terminated in 2021, Britney Spears testified against her father. She claimed he and her other conservators were abusive toward her. She also accused the conservators of making her work tirelessly for their financial well-being.
The legal battle came to an end last week, with Britney walking out of the courthouse without any money being rewarded to her. She was also reportedly ordered to pay her father’s legal fees, which is reported to be around $2 million.
She also has to pay for her own legal fees which are rumored to be approximately $4 million.
The exact details of the settlement were not disclosed. However, Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart told multiple media outlets that despite having to pay the fees, her wish for freedom is officially complete.
“As she desired and instructed, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter,” Rosengart stated. “Britney Spears won when the court suspended her father and Britney Spears won when her fundamental rights and civil liberties were restored.”
