Cardi B is giving her fans a health update. On Wednesday, the 32-year-old rapper revealed on social media that she’s been hospitalized for days after suffering a “medical emergency.”

“I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” she wrote. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”
Cardi ended her post with a message to her fans.
“Bardi Gang—thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry,” she instructed. “Love y’all.”
In the caption of her post, Cardi added, “Thank you guys for understanding… I will see you soon.”
No other details about Cardi’s health have been revealed.
Cardi’s most recent public appearance was at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Oct. 15. She went live on Instagram on Monday, admitting that she was having trouble breathing while speaking from her hospital bed, per Page Six.
Cardi B’s Canceled Gig
Cardi was scheduled to perform at ONE MusicFest in Atlanta on Oct. 26. She was listed as the headliner for the festival alongside such performers as Earth, Wind & Fire, Nelly, and Fantasia.
In the wake of Cardi’s cancelation, the music festival spoke out on X.
“Hey #OMFFam! Unfortunately, @iamcardib announced that she is no longer available to join us this year due to ongoing health issues,” the post read. “Let’s all keep her in our prayers for a full recovery! We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date. More to come soon.”
It’s been a busy time for Cardi, who recently welcomed her third child with her husband, Offset, amid their messy divorce. The estranged couple shares Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and the 1-month-old baby girl whose name she’s yet to announce.
