Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been a topic of discussion for the better part of 2024. Several people have accused him of assault and he is also the subject of an ongoing sex trafficking case.

However, things went from bad to worse for the Bad Boy Records founder last week. CNN released grueling footage of his assault on his former girlfriend and label artist Cassie Ventura.
Cassie’s Husband Shows Support With Kind Gesture
After the release of the footage, Cassie released a statement. She received tons of support in response to her statement but none more notable than from her husband, Alex Fine.
“Love you so much, perfect example for our daughters,” Fine said in response to the Instagram post.
The video of Cassie being assaulted by Diddy is honestly hard to watch. He punches and kicks her repeatedly. He also chases her and drags her by her hair after she seemingly attempts to escape from him.
Ventura: Believe Victims ‘The First Time’
Cassie filed a lawsuit alleging she was assaulted by Diddy in November. It did not take long for the ex-couple to settle out of court. However, after the settlement, some questioned the validity of her claims. Those questions were answered after the video was released. In her statement, Cassie pleads for people to believe victims “the first time.”
“My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in,” Ventura wrote.
“I offer my hand to those who are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never-ending, but this support means everything to me.”
She also thanked people for the amount of support they have given her after the video was released.
“Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet,” she added.
“The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning.”
