The since-deleted Kansas City X post pointed out where the kicker actually lives. “Just a reminder that Harrison Butker lives in the City of Lee’s Summit,” they wrote.
This is crazy for a CITY account to tweet 😭🤣 https://t.co/krvdB27any pic.twitter.com/dIw88quRLy

Lee’s Summit is about half an hour from Kansas City and 20 minutes from Arrowhead Stadium.
The account retracted the post and wrote, “We apologies for our previous tweet. It was shared in error.”
X users quickly noticed the error in the tweet. “Someone was sweating so hard when they typed this that they couldn’t spell ‘apologize,’” one user wrote.
“You need to fire your spellchecker on top of the poor intern who sent the original tweet,” someone else declared.
Other users joked about the apology. “I hate when I accidentally type out a tweet and post it in error,” another user stated. “Happens all the time.”
“Doxing someone ‘by accident’ because you don’t agree with their views is weird,” a fellow X user pointed out.
Another noted, “No, you didn’t accidentally post the location of one of the biggest athletes in the state. Can almost guarantee whoever did it won’t be facing any repercussions either so that’s wild.”
Meanwhile, Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas apologized for the city’s tweet sharing where Harrison Butker actually lives.
“A message appeared earlier this evening from a City public account,” Lucas wrote on his own account. “The message was clearly inappropriate for a public account. The City has correctly apologized for the error, will review account access, and ensure nothing like it is shared in the future from public channels.”
Harrison Butker Remains Silent While Being Heavily Criticized For Commencement Speech
The public is currently going after Harrison Butker over the comments he made during the Benedictine College graduation ceremony.
During his speech, Butker personally addressed the female graduates by stating they have had the most “diabolical” lies told to them.
“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world,” he stated.
“I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say that her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.”
He also told the male graduates to embrace their masculinity and fight against emasculation. He pushed his political beliefs even further by calling Pride Month one of the “deadly sins” and took aim at President Biden.
The NFL has come out and said that Butker’s opinions are not a reflection of the organization as a whole. Butker has not publicly spoken out about the backlash.
