Chrissy Teigen sent her youngest tot Esti on her way to her first day of “preschool” and marked the occasion with a cute snapshot.
On Tuesday, May 14, the 38-year-old model shared an adorable photo of her 16-month-old daughter, Esti Maxine, gripping a movie-style clapboard, marking her first day at preschool.
The date displayed on the board was May 14, 2024. “Esti’s FIRST DAY OF Pre-School,” the clapboard also read. “I AM 1 YEARS OLD.”
Esti wore a striped dress with a pink cardigan, looking straight into the camera, prepared with a white bow in her hair. “This also happened today,” Teigen captioned the Instagram post.
Meanwhile, the next slide showcased a video of Esti gently giving her baby doll drinks from toy bottles. Of course, Chrissy Teigen’s tyke was clearly practiced at the activity, as Esti expertly provided baby sounds for her doll.

Chrissy Teigen’s instagram post featuring Esti about to embark on her big adventure caused some confusion among fans. Many seemed to question if preschool even exists for a 16 month old toddler.
“Kids have to go to school at 1 now??,” a perplexed Instagram user asked. “Preschool already? It was just yesterday you announced her birth!” a second fan quipped. “Preschool? She’s 1 lol that’s daycare,” a third fan added.
Meanwhile, other fans were taken by the footage of Esti and her baby doll. “Omg the way she feeds the baby doll!!,” an Instagram denizen gushed. “Awww, the sound she’s making haha,” a second added. “The eating sounds!!! Sooo cute,’ a third follower wrote.
Meanwhile, Teigen returned to modeling school, gracing one of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2024 edition covers. “Chrissy Teigen represents the new generation of model moguls,” editor-in-chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit MJ Day explained.
While Teigen was a no-show for the recent Met Gala, she still managed to hit the red carpet recently. At the 2024 ACE Awards in NYC last week, Teigen grabbed attention with a transparent dress on the red carpet.
The flowers on Teigen’s gown were arranged to cover her chest and private areas, and it appeared she chose a nude thong under the elegant floral dress. The floral patterns also spurred chatter that the gown was intended for the Met Gala (which had a Mother Nature motif this year). However, Teigen insisted the similarities were mere coincidence.
