Not one to hold back his thoughts, Danny Trejo unleashed on Kim Kardashian in a wild rant about the Los Angeles wildfires.

While speaking to TMZ about the crisis, Trejo criticized celebrities for their lack of focus on those who lost everything in the blazes.
Trejo vented his frustration at Kardashian after she posted on social media about the California prison inmates who had teamed up with the firefighters to put out the flames. Referring to them as “heroes,” Kardashian pointed out that the inmates get paid “almost nothing” and risk their lives.
“Some have died to prove to the community that they have changed and are now first responders,” she pointed out. “I see them as heroes.”
The reality TV star then noted that the imprisoned firefighters have made only a dollar an hour for the past 40 years. She also explained that while an agreement to increase the pay to five dollars an hour was made, it was “shot down at the last minute.”
Although many found Kim Kardashian’s comments admirable, Danny Trejo said now wasn’t the time to get “political.”
“Kim, worry about the people that lost everything,” Trejo stated. “You still got everything. Worry about all of the people that are walking around with absolutely nothing but the clothes on their back, all right?”
Trejo then said he felt confident as a former convict that “all the people in jail, they’re fine.” He said they will “figure out what to do” after the “damn fire” is extinguished.
TMZ noted that the inmates volunteer to be firefighters as a way to get their sentences reduced. Trejo pointed out that any money the inmates earn typically goes to their restitution.
