In a barrage of airline-related incidents this month, another has gone viral. The latest situation includes two planes from different airlines. An Aircraft from Delta Airlines collided with a Spirit Airlines plane in Cleveland, Ohio at Hopkins International Airport. The Delta aircraft hit the wing of the Spirit Plane.

“A Spirit Airlines plane was hit by the wing of a Delta Airlines plane Sunday night at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport,” Scripps News writes.
“The incident happened around 8 p.m. as Spirit Airlines Flight 655 was parked at a gate and in the process of boarding passengers. That’s when the wingtip of Delta flight DL2577 made contact with the Spirit aircraft, a spokesperson with Spirit Airlines said.”
Delta Plane Collides With Spirit Airlines Wing
It was indeed a scary situation for everyone who was aboard the aircraft. The airline reported no injuries, thankfully.
The passengers on the flight endured a four-hour delay while the airline worked to accommodate them with another aircraft, Delta said,” Scripps News added.
“The Spirit aircraft was removed from service to be examined, and the airline said it re-accommodated passengers who were scheduled for that flight.”
Airline Involved in Previous Incident This Week
Delta customers have to be concerned. This is the second incident involving one of their aircraft this week. On May 14 A frightening moment that occurred on a flight to Washington from Mexico went viral. Delta Airlines Flight 604 had landed only moments before the plane burst into flames, according to PEOPLE.
“The nose of a Delta plane burst into flames on Monday, May 6 due to an electrical malfunction, the airline confirms,” PEOPLE wrote.
“Delta Flight 604 had just landed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington from Cancun when the incident occurred. The Airbus A321neo aircraft was carrying 189 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants, according to the airline.”
