In the new song aimed at the Canadian-born artist, Lamar insinuates that members of Drake’s October’s Very Own (OVO) music label have been leaking information to Kendrick for him to use in his diss tracks.
“Are you finally ready to play have-you-ever? Let’s see
Have you ever thought that OVO is workin’ for me?
Fake bully, I hate bullies, you must be a terrible person
Everyone inside your team is whispering that you deserve it
Can’t Toosie Slide up outta this one, it’s just gon’ resurface,” the Pulitzer Prize winner raps in the song.
Drake Makes Wild Allegation Against Kendrick Lamar
After Kendrick responded to Drake’s jabs in “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA,” fans waited impatiently to see if Drizzy would have a rebuttal for Kendrick. Drake responded in a major way with another song entitled “Family Matters.”
Drake goes dark mode in the song. He insinuates that one of Kendrick’s children may not belong to him. He also accuses the Compton-born artist of domestic violence.
“When you put your hands on your girl, is it self-defense ’cause she bigger than you?” he raps.
in the song, Drake also says that Kendrick hired a crisis management team to cover up the abuse.
“They hired a crisis management team to clean up the fact that you beat on your queenÂ
The picture you painted ain’t what it seems, you’re dead.”
Kendrick Lamar Slams Drizzy in New Song
It did not take long for Kendrick to fire back at Drake. About thirty minutes after “Family Matters” premiered, Kendrick dropped another song entitled “Meet the Grahams.”
In the song, Kendrick insinuates that Drake has been hiding an 11-year-old daughter.
“Dear baby girl I’m sorry that your father is not active inside your world
He don’t commit to much but his music, yeah, that’s for sure,” he rapped on the song.
Kendrick also released an additional track on May 4 entitled “Not Like Us,” where he appears to accuse Drake of being attracted to younger women.
“Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young
You better not ever go to cell block one,” he says in the song.
