Pedro Pascal did not hide the fact that he had a few too many drinks during his acceptance speech at the 2024 SAG Awards on Saturday night.

Pascal, 48, expressed, “This is wrong. For a number of reasons. Umm, I’m a little drunk. I thought I could get drunk,” Pascal joked. Pascal won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for his role in The Last of Us.
Taking a moment to compose himself, Pascal emotionally thanked HBO, the streaming network of the show. He stated, “Uh, geez Louise, I’m making a fool of myself. But thank you so much for this!”
The Narcos star referred to the award as an “incredible f–king honor” and expressed his intention to thank his fellow nominees. However, in his intoxicated state, he humorously admitted, “I could not remember any of your names right now.” Pascal attempted to express gratitude to his family watching at home, but his emotional state became more evident when his voice cracked.

Feeling overwhelmed, Pedro Pascal concluded his speech by humorously stating, “I’m going to have a panic attack. And I’m going to leave.” He then exited the stage amidst the applause.
Backstage, during a conversation with fashion designer Tan France, Pascal admitted, “I don’t remember what I said. I just was very surprised, so let’s YouTube it later.”
This incident follows Pascal’s previous headline-making speech at the 2024 Emmys, where he humorously blamed Kieran Culkin for a shoulder injury.
