According to TMZ, producers for Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up have moved on from Anderson. They see his role in Blanchard’s life and therefore the show as wrapped up, given the split between the two.
Neither Blanchard nor Anderson made this decision. Instead, the producers decided it was the right fit for the show. It didn’t make sense to continue to focus on Anderson since Blanchard is the main draw here.
With their lives no longer intertwined, Anderson is moving on post-Blanchard. The couple has been on the rocks since their marriage blew up. However, the production did record and film the fallout around their marriage.
The documentary should give viewers new insight into what exactly between Blanchard and Anderson’s marriage and what exactly happened. Production did mention that it did a one-on-one with Anderson to wrap up his storyline for the series. However, they won’t be pursuing any follow-ups with him.
Gypsy Rose Getting a Divorce
It’s been a whirlwind couple of months for Blanchard since she got released from prison. Blanchard appeared happy with her relationship with Anderson. She described what set him apart from other guys.
“In previous relationships, I think the exes that I’ve had have maybe idealized me,” she explained. “Like, the image of me in their head was better than the me they got. I’m just a regular person, I’m just a human. I’m not perfect. I do make mistakes. I have flaws, but Ryan loves me in spite of those flaws.”
However, it wasn’t long before cracks began to form. Blanchard ended up announcing her divorce on social media.
She wrote, “People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am,”
