In a recent Instagram post for her skincare brand, Rhode Beauty, Hailey used her baby bump as her newest accessory. She also sported a cute cream top, turning her baby bump into a fashion statement.
“Itty bitty bits of may p.s. we’ve been working hard on some new things for you that are coming very soon,” the caption reads.
Hailey Bieber Wanted Pregnancy on Hush
Hailey and Justin Bieber announced that they were expecting in an Instagram post on May 9. The post features behind the scenes video from the couple’s vow renewal. And the third slide features a picture of Justin cradling Hailey’s baby bump.
The pregnancy announcement was pretty sudden to the general public. And that was by design. One source told PEOPLE that they were very stern about keeping the news on the hush until they were ready to share.
“When they found out that Hailey was pregnant, it was just the best day for them. They have both been very emotional about it. They feel so blessed. They’ve also felt very protective of the baby from the moment they found out,” the source said.
“They shared with family and close friends early on. It was important for them to keep it quiet and just enjoy for as long as possible before they publicly confirmed though. They asked their friends to not share until they were ready to announce.”
Hailey Gets Candid on Pregnancy Rumors
It is not surprising to hear that the Bieber’s wanted their pregnancy to be secluded. There had been a lot of recent speculation that the Biebers were expecting their first child. In October, Hailey did an interview with GQ where she discussed the rumors going around. She called them disheartening.
“Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s pregnant,’ and that’s happened to me multiple times before,” she told the outlet.
“There is something that’s disheartening about, damn, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I don’t give a s—.’”
