During the Feb. 14 episode of their New Heights podcast, the Kelce brothers watched the clip. “She’s getting after it,” Jason declared. He also revealed he didn’t know what was going on when the Bad Blood songstress and her friend, Ashland Avignone, grabbed their drinks.
Travis Kelce also admitted he didn’t know that Taylor Swift’s beer chug appeared on the jumbotron during the big game. He then joked that she must have “done this before.”
“She’s a pro,” Kelce said about his girlfriend.
While watching Kelce and his Chiefs teammates go up against the San Francisco 49ers, Swift noticed that the cameras were on her. She and Avignone decided to make the clip worthwhile by chugging their beers.
Immediately after the game, Taylor Swift ran onto the field to give Travis Kelce a celebratory kiss. NFL released the clip of the exchange between the duo. “Thank you for coming, baby,” Kelce declared as they hugged and then he continued to thank her numerous times. “Thank you for the support.”
Showing her disbelief at the overtime win, Swift stated, “Oh, I cannot believe that. I can’t believe you! How did you do that?”
Taylor Swift notably traveled from Tokyo, Japan to Las Vegas to watch Travis Kelce play in Super Bowl LVIII. Kelce loudly shared his appreciation for her efforts. “Thank you for making it halfway across the world,” he stated. “You’re the best, baby, the absolute best.”
After another kiss, Kelce asked, “Was it electric?” To which Swift said, “It was unbelievable.”
Travis Kelce Admits He Feels Like a ‘Trainwreck’ Following Super Bowl LVIII Weekend
Although he enjoyed celebrating the big Super Bowl win with Taylor Swift, friends, and family, Travis Kelce admitted he was completely exhausted after the exhausting weekend.
“I feel like I just got in a trainwreck man,” Travis stated to Jason when asked how he felt post-game. “That was a physical game, man.”
Jason then declared, “That was a physical post-game too!”
Despite how he felt, Travis Kelce admitted he wouldn’t have it any other way. “That was five quarters of hard-nose football, and it was worth every single discomfort and pain I woke up to today,” he continued. “[I] just couldn’t be happier for the guys, man.”
Travis then said that he and his Chiefs teammates really rallied together for five quarters. “For the second half of the season we really just decided to lock in and put in that extra work man and it paid off baby. Nothing better.”
