Refusing to hold back her opinion, Joy Behar declared that Sharon Stone “craves relevancy” as she publicly feuds with Billy Baldwin.

Behar’s remark occurred when she and the rest of The View co-hosts discussed Stone’s beef with Baldwin. During a recent appearance on the Louis Theroux Podcast, the actress recently claimed that producer Robert Evans asked her to have sex with Baldwin to improve his acting for the 1993 film Sliver.
“[Evans is] running around his office in his sunglasses, explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin,” Stone stated. “Because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better. And we needed Billy to get better in the movie, because that was the problem.”
Sharon Stone then said, “If I could sleep with Billy, then we would have chemistry on-screen, and if I would just have sex with him then that would save the movie.”
However, not too long after Stone publicly made the claims, Baldwin spoke out. He then stated he wonders if he “should write a book and tell many, many disturbing, kinky, and unprofessional tales about Sharon.”
Responding to Sharon Stone and Billy Baldwin’s back-and-forth, Joy Behar had no problem revealing who she thinks is in the wrong.
“People crave relevancy and that threat that he made, ‘I’m gonna bring out all this dirt about Sharon,’ she must’ve been like, ‘Yeah, bring it out, because I haven’t been in the public eye for a while, so here it goes!’” Behar declared.
Behar then stated, “Ego problems with actors? What a concept!”
Joy Behar Doesn’t Understand Why Sharon Stone Brings Up ‘Sliver’ Situation Decades Later
Later in the discussion, Joy Behar and fellow The View co-host Whoopie Goldberg fail to understand why Sharon Stone brought up the Sliver production.
Behar stated the whole situation “doesn’t make sense” to her. She then said that because of the producer’s supposed theory, the Godfather cast would “have to behead a horse in order to play a mobster.”
“It doesn’t make sense!” Behar repeated. “It’s called acting. That was when the cohosts asked why Stone decided to bring up the incident 30 years after the film’s release.
Sunny Hostin then asked, “Sharon, are you still upset 30 years later?” Whoopie then brought up Baldwin’s current issues with his wife Chynna Phillips. “Maybe he’s just sick of people taking pot shots at him,” Goldberg went on to add.
