While his niece Kate Middleton is battling cancer, Gary Goldsmith was more focused on criticizing Meghan Markle in a recent interview.

While chatting with The Times earlier this month, Goldsmith didn’t hold back his disdain towards the former Suits star. He went as far as predicting Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry won’t last.
“Let’s face it, Laughing Girl isn’t going to be around forever, is she?” Goldsmith stated. “I think she’s fickle. And I think she’s so bad for Harry and for our country.”
The Times confirmed Meghan Markle is referred to as “Laughing Girl” by Kate Middleton’s uncle. He then stated he didn’t appreciate the former actress accusing the royal family of making racist remarks towards her.
“That’s why it makes me so angry about what Meghan said about Kate,” Goldsmith continued. He was referring to Meghan Markle stating that royal members discussed her son Archie’s skin color ahead of his birth.
Although many speculate that it was Middleton and King Charles III, Markle has never revealed who they were.
“The idea that Laughing Girl says Kate is racist makes me furious. Kate knows her family’s roots and is proud of them. I’m sorry, but Laughing Girl is not good people.”
Goldsmith declared Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are among the reasons why Kate Middleton and Prince William aren’t as happy as they used to be. Middleton’s uncle also aimed Prince Andrew.
“He and that woman are chasing the American corporate dollar and that is so, so ugly. William, Harry and Kate were such a happy little trio and it got totally ruined.”
“With all that going on — and there is other stuff going on that is not in the public domain — are they at their absolute happiest? No. Their kids bring them a lot of joy, but no.”
Kate Middleton’s Uncle Quickly Walks Back His Comments About Meghan Markle
Although he had some strong words towards Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton’s uncle quickly walked back his comments from The Times interview after his niece announced her cancer diagnosis.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) Goldsmith wrote, “As many will have seen, I am featured in Saturday’s Time’s Magazine. This interview and shoot was done over a week ago and went to print before I was aware of the sad news regarding my niece Kate.”
Goldsmith continued on to write, “My thoughts and prayers are with Kate and the wider family at this time difficult time and deeply upset at the timing of this article.”
“I hope this draws a line over the continued speculation and horrible conspiracies. Let’s give Kate, Willia, [and] the children time and show some love back.”
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant did not attend the show’s season finale. He cited his niece’s news as the reason.
