A source told PEOPLE that “everything is settled” but did not disclose further details due to confidentiality.
PEOPLE also reported, “According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Clarkson requested a dismissal on Tuesday, May 21, while Blackstock’s management firm Starstruck Entertainment filed its own request to dismiss all of the pop star’s claims against him on Wednesday, May 22 with the Superior Court of Los Angeles.”
Clarkson originally filed a lawsuit back in March, claiming her ex owed her more than the $2.6 million in past commissions. This was a result of Blackstock, who was also Clarkson’s manager at one time, allegedly overstepping his legal limits.
However, Blackstock pushed back on that lawsuit and requested its dismissal. He denied “each and every allegation” against him.

Blackstock also claimed that Clarkson did not “file a notice of appeal within 10 days” from the decision. In other words, they filed the suit outside of the proper jurisdiction.
Additionally, “[Clarkson’s] Complaint fails to state facts sufficient to constitute a cause of action against Starstruck [Management] and is, therefore, barred for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted,” documents read.
According to PEOPLE, “The labor commissioner ruled that Blackstock and Starstruck Management violated California’s Talent Agencies Act, which stated managers cannot procure or try to procure employment for artists unless they act in conjunction with a licensed agent.”
While he and his team filed an appeal in December of 2023, Clarkson filed the recent lawsuit in mid-March.
In the filing, she asked for a “full and complete accounting from Starstruck of all monies received by Starstruck, directly or indirectly, in connection with any and all contracts, employment, or engagements pertaining in any way to the personal services of [Clarkson].”
Thankfully, the court has officially settled the lawsuits.
Clarkson and Blackstock married in October 2013 and filed for divorce in June 2020. Blackstock also operated as Clarkson’s manager from 2017 to 2020. The ex-spouses share two children.
