The married couple and LIVE with Kelly and Mark co-hosts revealed the “buyer’s remorse” they felt after purchasing their home.
“Every time you get your offer accepted on a house, you’re like, ooh. Buyer’s remorse,” Consuelos, admitted on a recent episode, per Entertainment Weekly.
“I remember when we bought our first home, and we immediately regretted it,” Ripa added about their stress. “I remember when we went in to sign all of the deeds and whatever we were signing at the closing, the real estate broker said, ‘I can tell you’re new homeowners.'”
“She said, ‘You look burdened.'”
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Current Home Isn’t Without Its Problems
Eventually, the beloved couple found themselves living in Long Island. However, their current home isn’t without its problems. Consuelos and Ripa discussed on Live how their neighbors on Long Island once complained about noise from a Halloween kids’ party they hosted back in 1999.
Consuelos added that the same neighbors now play pickleball for hours.
Ripa and Consuelos first crossed paths in 1995 during auditions for All My Children. Consuelos was cast as Ripa’s on-screen love interest, and their off-screen romance quickly blossomed. After less than a year of dating, they eloped in Las Vegas in 1996. Since then, they have welcomed three children: Michael, 26; Lola, 22; and Joaquin, 21.
Ripa and Consuelos commemorated their relationship milestone by revisiting their wedding venue. In February, the couple recreated their wedding photos.
Meanwhile, Mark recently got an ego boost when Kelly implied his love-making prowess kept her awake all night.
It started when Mark was laying on his affection for Kelly a little too thickly.
“You’re so sweet, you’re very kind. He is making it up to me because Mark kept me awake all night last night,” she said in a March episode. The crowd burst into a symphony of “ahhs”. Meanwhile, Make egged them on, slamming his fist on the table.
Consuelos responded to the audience by leaning back, flexing his biceps, and flashing a smirk, as the crowd cheered him on.
“No, no, it’s not that, it’s not what you think, it’s not what you think,” Ripa pointed out.
It turns out, Ripa struggled to sleep due to her husband’s loud snoring. “A lot of snoring, so I put in my noise-canceling headphones,” she told the disappointed audience.
