Kid Cudi is currently recovering after sustaining an injury during his Coachella performance over the weekend.

TMZ reports that while on stage, the rapper was trying to get off a platform that was noticeably swaying. He ended up jumping off the stage and hitting the ground hard. He struggled to get back up afterward.
Two security guards assisted Kid Cudi in helping him walk after the jump. He was unable to finish his performance.
Following the ordeal, the rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal he ended up breaking a foot. “Just leavin the hospital,” he shared in his update. “Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy.”
Kid Cudi went on to thank his fans for all their concerns and well wishes following the fall. “I love y’all man,” he declared. “I hear y’all still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big.”
His fans quickly responded to the post with support. “praying for a quick recovery big bro!!!” one fan wrote. “You killed that set too!”
Another fan added, “Rest up! Much love to you and a speedy recovery. CudFam is sending you so much love!”
The injury comes just one month after the rapper announced plans for his Insano World Tour. He previously released his ninth studio album of the same name in Jan. 2024.
Kid Cudi is set to kick off his tour in Austin, Texas on June 28.

Days before his unexpected injury at Coachella, Kid Cudi announced his engagement to fashion designer Lola Abecassis Sartore.
In an adorable Instagram post, which featured some pics of him and Sartore, the rapper wrote in the caption, “My fiancé Lola and me at the Knuckles premiere. This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and im so excited to share this news w u all. Life is wild, and right when I felt my future was uncertain, it became crystal clear with Lola. Happy Cud in full effect.”
Sartore also shared the news on her Instagram account. “I never thought I could love someone this much,” she gushed in the caption. “So proud to call you my fiance Scott.”
The couple was recently spotted at the premiere of Knuckles, which is Kid Cudi’s latest TV project.
Kid Cudi’s previous relationship with Cassie Ventura hit the spotlight in late 2023 through Ventura’s lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs. The rapper dated Ventura in 2012.
According to Ventura, Diddy threatened to blow up Cudi’s vehicle and wanted to ensure the rapper would be home with friends when it happened.
Kid Cudi confirmed that his vehicle did explode in his driveway after the threat.
