Kim, North Take in WNBA Game Together
Unfortunately, it was a bit of a down night as the Dream beat the Sparks. But the mother-daughter duo seemed to enjoy themselves nonetheless.
“Fun night with my Northie at the @la_sparks @wnba game tonight!” Kim captioned her Instagram post as she and North rocked matching blonde hair courtside.
North, being one of the most well-known child celebs out there of course got backstage access after the game. She joined the Los Angeles Sparks in the locker room. She even received shoes and a signed jersey from Sparks’ second-overall pick Cameron Brink.
Kardashian, SKIMS Ink New Partnership
This may have been a recreational mother, daughter outing for Kim and North. But this also could have just as well been a business trip for Kardashian. Kim is the CEO of SKIMS who just recently became the official underwear partner of the WNBA. Brink was one of the players who was part of the rollout.
In a press release following the announcement, Kim noted “women’s empowerment,” as one of the values that SKIMS shares with the WNBA.
“I’m proud to launch this new WNBA campaign starring such an incredible cast of athletes. Championing women and women in sports is incredibly important to SKIMS,” she said in the press release.
“Our brand DNA is rooted in inclusivity, representation, and women’s empowerment, which are values shared with the WNBA. We are honored to be the Official Underwear Partner of the league and look forward to continuing our work together throughout the season.”
WNBA star Candace Parker, who recently retired from the WNBA is also part of the campaign. She noted how “honored” she was to be part of the SKIMS family.
“As I move onto this next chapter in my life, I hope to leave the game in a better place and continue to be an example of what is possible both on and off the court,” she said.
