The reality TV star has lost 120,000 and counting social media followers since the diss track surfaced. Many believe that, due to the song’s title design, it is geared towards Kardashian.
One lyric reads, “Everyone knows that my mother is a saintly woman/But she used to say she wished that you were dead.”
After the song started to make headlines, Taylor Swift fans, aka Swifties, took to Kim Kardashian’s social media channels to post comments about the track’s title. “You should have just apologized like your mom told you to,” one Swiftie wrote. “thanK you aIMee.”
Kardashian’s fans have noticed the situation and have asked her “momager” Kris Jenner to help. “Kris, you need to help Kim,” one fan wrote. “Why you being quiet. Work that magic on this TayTay drama girl.”
Another fan wrote, “Me just waiting for Kirs to spin this Taylor beef into a new Skimms collection. Y’all wait.”
Despite the firestorm Taylor Swift and her new song caused, Kim Kardashian’s social media followers remain around 363 million.
Taylor Swift Previously Opened Up About Her Feud With Kanye West, His Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian
During her 2023 Time’s Person of the Year interview, Taylor Swift opened up about the infamous feud she has with Kanye West and his now ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Swift mentioned the duo while discussing the lowest points in her music career. “It’s not lost on me that the two great catalysts for this happening were two horrendous things that happened to me,” she explained.
“The first was getting canceled within an inch of my life and sanity. The second was having my life’s work taken away from me by someone who hates me.”
Taylor Swift was referring to the 2016 incident with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. The rapper had approached the Bad Blood songstress to ask if he could put her name in his song Famous.
Although she agreed to have her name in the song, she didn’t approve of the lyric “I made that b— famous.”
After Swift denounced the song and West, Kardashian released an edited version of the phone call between West and Swift. The incident led to Swift being infamously referred to as a “snake.”
Speaking about the situation, Taylor Swift called out Kardashian specifically. “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.”
Swift also said the situation took her down psychology to a place she had never been before. She ended up moving to the UK and refused to leave her rental home for a year. “I was afraid to get phone calls,” she continued. “I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore.”
Taylor then added she went down really, really hard.
