A little more than four years after she and ex-husband Jay Cutler called it quits, Kristin Cavallari refuses to hold back on how she truly feels about her marriage with the former NFL quarterback.

During the recent episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, the Laguna Beach alum admitted to being excessively skinny while being married to Cutler.
“I was very thin,” Kristin explained. “I’ll put it in perspective for you guys. I’m 5’3”. I currently weigh 114 pounds. Filming Very Cavallari, got down to 102. and I was eating the same amount of food that I’m eating now.”
The reality TV star admitted that the only difference between now and then was she was “unhappy” in her marriage.
“I was so unhappy and so stressed out,” she continued. She pointed out that looking back on the time is shocking to her. “ I look back at photos from that time period and I am like, ‘Holy s–t!’ I was rail f–king thin.
She said she was “skin and bones” as well as looking like “s—.”
“I think I look so much better now,” Kristin Cavallari then declared. “And you guys, that was just stress. That was being in a really unhappy marriage, quite honestly. Literally, I was so unhappy and I had way too much on my plate.”
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler were married from 2013 to 2022 and share three children, The couple announced their separation in 2020.
“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” the Instagram post reads. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”

Last fall, Kristin Cavallari stated she was thankful for her marriage to Jay Cutler despite things not working out between them.
When asked if she regretted marrying young, Cavallari said, “No, I don’t because as cliche as it is, I really think everything I’ve gone through has made me who I am. And I mean, getting married, obviously it got me my three kids, but it got me to Franklin, Tennessee.”
Kristin Cavallari also noted that the marriage helped her with her career as well. “It ultimately led me to launch Uncommon James because I was living in Chicago and really needed something to do. And I’m so thankful for that. That’s what I’m the most proud of professionally.”
