Megan Fox has finally weighed in on TV personality Chelsea Blackwell’s claim that the movie star was her celebrity doppelgänger. The Jennifer’s Body star admitted she was confused by the comparison.

Mostly because she had no idea who Blackwell was.
It seems the actress and entrepreneur doesn’t watch much TV. She hasn’t binged Blackwell’s claim to fame, Love is Blind just yet. However, Fox is well aware of the controversy.
“I’ve never had more people text me about something,” Fox recently told E! News “because I don’t really watch TV very much.”
Fox added, “But I’ve had a lot of people text me and stop me. Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, ‘Do you watch Love is Blind?’ And I was like, ‘No, but I know what you’re talking about.'”
The debate ignited after Blackwell informed her date during a February episode of the Netflix reality series that she considers Fox her celebrity look-alike. Her comments led to skepticism, mockery, and memes on social media. Blackwell expressed humility on Instagram and claimed she later apologized to the actress, though it’s unclear if she received a response.
Megan Fox Diplomatically Defends Chelsea Blackwell’s Celebrity Lookalike Claims
Indeed, if you tune in to Love is Blind, cover your television screen in Vaseline, have a few cocktails, and squint hard, Chelsea Blackwell does favor Megan Fox. They are, after all, both white women under 40 who typically have brunette hair.
Regardless, Megan Fox went to bat for Chelsea Blackwell. “I didn’t watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied,” Fox said. Speaking about the roasting Blackwell received, Fox thought it went too far. “I don’t think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard,” she said.
According to the Fox, Blackwell’s physical resemblance to her may actually hold some truth. “I did see a picture of her,” she admitted. “A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You kind of look like Megan Fox.’ So I believe she’s telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her.”
She added, “Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn’t happen to her. Best wishes and blessings.”
