After going makeup-free for the past year, Pamela got dolled up for her first-ever Met Gala event. She looked gorgeous in her beige Oscar de la Renta gown, which featured a long train. As for accessories, she wore nearly 200 carats of diamonds around her neck and cascading down toward her shoulder, elevating the elegant look even further.
After the event, Pamela shared a video of herself running out of the Met Gala in her long, flowing dress. She then ran through Central Park, excited as ever to be in New York City.
“From one garden to the next… 🧚♀️ A special thank you to @theofficialpandora and @oscardelarenta for the most beautiful evening… ✨” she wrote on Instagram.
“In the light of morning, after seeing so many photos from last night, this is the one thing that sticks with me… this video, your giggles ! I think you had more fun than anyone else there!” someone wrote in the comments of Pamela’s Instagram post.
“Best video of the met gala. You always win. 🌳 — you just get it. It’s beautiful to see you living your best life,” another person added.
A third user commented, “I think I like you better now than I ever have in my life! You literally have become your best self with age!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Pamela Anderson Attends First Met Gala — With Makeup
Back in October, Pamela shared a merged Instagram post with Vogue, where she talked about her choice to go makeup-free.
“I didn’t come to Paris Fashion Week and think, ‘I’m gonna wear any makeup’ … I don’t know, something just kind of came over me,” she said. “I was dressing in these beautiful clothes, and I thought, ‘I don’t want to compete with the clothes. I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room.’
“It’s just freedom; it’s a relief,” she expressed. However, for an event like the Met Gala, where artistic expressions like makeup and fashion are celebrated, Pamela decided to get dolled up.
“This is my first time attending, so it felt important to work with designers that understand me,” she told Bazaar. “I’m in a very freeing space right now. I can enjoy beauty and fashion on my own terms.”
