According to TMZ, the plaintiff, identified as only “John Doe,” filed the lawsuit last week at the Los. Angeles County Superior Court. He claimed him to be a “high profile individual” who knew Sean Diddy Combs, even attending various events with the now disgraced rap mogul.
The unidentified man claimed in his legal documents that Buzbee and his fire allegedly threatened to unleash “entirely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault — including multiple incidents of rape of a minor, both male and female — against Plaintiff if he refuses to comply with their demands.”
Buzbee was also accused of alleging the plaintiff had raped the males and females while they were under the influence of drugs at parties hosted by Diddy.
The unknown plaintiff further pointed out that Buzbe has filed lawsuits against various celebrities in the past. This includes the Cleveland Browns’ star quarterback, Deshaun Watson. He then noted that Buzbee tried to “shake down” the NFL player as well as other people by making “dubious claims” that wouldn’t stand up in court.
Another celebrity that Buzbee went after in the past was Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus. Buzbee accused the athlete of sexual assault.
Tony Buzbee Speaks Out About the Lawsuit Filed Against Him
Despite a new legal hurdle, Tony Buzbee stated he isn’t backing down from going after those who were allegedly involved in Diddy’s sexual crimes.
The Texas-based lawyer told TMZ that he won’t be “intimidated” or have the Diddy accusers silenced. “We won’t allow the powerful and their high-dollar lawyers to intimidate or silence sexual assault survivors,” he stated.
The Texas attorney said the lawsuit is not only without merit but also considered laughable. He also recalled sending a standard demand letter to a New York lawyer known to represent the unidentified plaintiff. No dollar amount was included in the demand letters, he said. There were also no threats made towards the plaintiffs.
“I am a U.S. Marine. I won’t be silenced or intimidated. Neither will my clients,” he added.
Buzbee previously appeared on TMZ’s documentary The Downfall of Diddy: Inside the Freak-Offs. Days after Diddy’s infamous New York City arrest, the Texas lawyer claimed the victims he represents accused the rapper of drugging them with horse tranquilizer before sexually assaulting them.
“Several of the individuals [I represent] … were drug tested and drugs were found in their system,” Buzbee explained at the time. “Weird drugs, drugs that you probably never heard of.”
Buzbee also claimed 25 minors were sexually assaulted by Diddy. One of them, he alleged, was only nine years old at the time.
