Dashcam footage posted in the Facebook group INFO BERITA SEMASA shows that the collision occurred at 11:46 AM on August 23 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Two motorcyclists were cruising in the leftmost lane ahead of the filming car when a runaway tire came into view. In the footage, the tire was already in motion, bouncing off the curb and heading toward the riders.
It collided head-on with one of the motorcycles, launching the rider into the air as the bike was instantly wrecked. The force of the impact sent the motorcycle tumbling backward, performing several somersaults in the process.
The impact caused the motorcyclist to tumble forcefully onto the road, his helmet dislodging upon the rough landing.

The motorcyclist reportedly survived, though he sustained serious injuries to multiple areas of his body, including his head. A photograph revealed that he had been moved to the roadside. Meanwhile, the car’s driver, who emerged unscathed, claimed that the victim had requested his glasses immediately after the accident.
They discovered his glasses on the road and returned them. However, he kept asking for them, suggesting a potential concussion. later reports indicate that the 55-year-old motorcyclist had narrowly escaped the loose tire crash with only minor injuries.
Local traffic police reported that a tire had fallen off a truck. An investigation has been opened regarding the incident.
