According to documents obtained by TMZ, the latest lawsuit is from a woman, identified as Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who claimed Diddy once dangled her over the edge of a 17-story balcony. She stated the incident occurred in Sept. 2016 at the apartment of Diddy’s then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
Bongolan shared that she was staying at Ventura’s apartment at the time. One night, Combs came over and allegedly groped Bongolan. After she attempted to resist, Diddy held her over the balcony.
After pulling her back onto the balcony, Bongolan said Combs slammed her into some patio furniture.
She is now suing Sean “Diddy” Combs for sexual battery and false imprisonment. She is seeking $10 million in damages.
Combs’ legal team released a statement not long after the lawsuit was filed. “Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations,” the statement reads. “And remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.”
The latest lawsuit comes just two months after Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York City. He was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits his May 2025 trial.
Sean “Diddy” Combs Was Denied Bail For a Third Time Last Week
Meanwhile, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ quest to be a free man for at least a few months has stalled again as a judge denies him bail for a third time.
Combs’ legal made the third request a few weeks ago. They asked for a $50 million bond and ensured the rapper would be confined to a nearby New York City apartment with 24/7 security. He also would not be permitted to have a cell phone.
However, the request didn’t convince Judge Arun Subramanian of the Manhattan federal court. In the ruling, Judge Subramanian stated, “The Court finds that the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community.”
The judge also acknowledged that Diddy being released from prison may cause a “serious risk” of witness tampering. Subramanian cited Diddy’s infamous 2016 hotel video as “direct evidence” of the rapper’s violence.
The video showed Diddy physically attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway. He stopped his assault only when someone walked off the elevator.
Sean “Diddy” Combs was denied bond multiple times due to being a “risk” while awaiting his May 2025 trial.
Prosecutors continue to accuse Combs of attempting to obstruct justice by trying to communicate with witnesses.
