Canadian rap sensation Drake’s lavish mansion is currently the focus of an investigation following a shooting incident that injured a man.

The CBC reported that the entrance to the expansive estate on Park Lane Circle was cordoned off by law enforcement, with a significant police presence observed in the vicinity throughout the morning.
Toronto police reported that the shooting occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. ET, as announced in a statement on X, (formerly Twitter). The incident took place near the intersection of Bayview and Lawrence Avenues, according to the information provided by the authorities.
According to police, a man sustained serious injuries during the gunfire and was transported to the hospital once officers reached the scene.
Police reported that a suspect fled in a vehicle. However, detailed descriptions of both the suspect and the vehicle were not immediately available.
Photos of the rapper’s luxurious 50,000-square-foot residence in the upscale Bridle Path area are often showcased online. Drake himself flaunts images of the swank property from time to time.

The verbal battle escalated in March, with Lamar launching “Like That,” a sharp retort to Drake and J. Cole’s “First Person Shooter.” While J. Cole swiftly exited the escalating conflict. However, Lamar and Drake have continuously engaged in a lyrical showdown, captivating rap enthusiasts with their exchanges ever since.
This past weekend, the rivalry between the rappers intensified as they released four new diss tracks aimed at each other. These tracks aired dirty laundry in melody, mixing personal and family secrets with a dash of controversial allegations.
Lamar and Drake have also reportedly removed copyright restrictions from their diss tracks, as their verbal rap battle takes over social media.
On May 5, social media influencer FaZe YourRage announced on X, previously known as Twitter, that the restrictions on covering this rap feud had been removed.
“Kendrick removed all copyright away from all my reactions to his diss tracks & is [letting] me get paid for all of em,” YourRage tweeted. “No label has ever done that for me so I’m thankful.”
On May 5, YourRage revealed that the gesture was returned by the other side of the conflict. “My Drake Reactions Are now also uncopyrighted,” he revealed. “WE EATING.”
