Snoop Dogg is returning to the fold after previously serving as mega mentor in Season 20. Meanwhile, Bublé last appeared on the show in Season 3, acting as an advisor for Blake Shelton.
Snoop Dogg previously opened up about his experience on the show to Today. He called it both fun and rewarding as an artist to help mentor and advise the next generation of artists.
He said, “That was so dope because a lot of the music was new to me and a lot of it I had already heard. It was crazy that I knew records that they didn’t know and also dope I could learn about certain music and learn about certain songs. Like that could really affect me and could affect my musical career.”
Snoop Dogg Looks Forward To ‘The Voice’
He continued, “It was a great situation to be able to mentor these artists and be able to give them certain information based off my knowledge and experience. Then at the same time being with the judges, being able to collaborate with four great judges. It was a fun time.”
However, things should be a bit more competitive for Snoop this time on The Voice. Still, the artist is already bringing a collaborative perspective to the table. He called Reba McEntire the queen on The Voice. “I can be the king that brings the style, the funk, the fun,” he added.
Gwen Stefani and McEntire are returning for another season of the show. Previously, McEntire opened up to ET about why she loved appearing on the show so much.
“I go with what touches my heart and hopefully it will touch the hearts of the viewers at home,” she said. “All of it! I love getting to know the other coaches. I love working with my team. It’s the best job in the world!”
“I love it,” she continued. “I love the schedule, I love everything about the crew, the people I get to work with, play with, we have fun. If it wasn’t fun, none of us would be wanting to come back.”
So fans will say goodbye to John Legend, Chance The Rapper, and Dan + Shay who are all leaving after Season 25.
