Sources close to the couple told The Sun that they were married in the U.S., with Jake’s famous father and Millie’s parents present. “They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year,” the insiders shared. “But now they have legally married and done all the paperwork.”
The sources also described the ceremony. “It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.”
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi made headlines when they got engaged in April 2023. Brown gushed about Jake while subtly announcing the engagement. “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all,” she wrote an Instagram post. She also shared a black and white photo of her and Jake on a beach, with her engagement front and center.
Jon Bon Jovi spoke about the engagement during his appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Radio Andy. He acknowledged the criticism circulating about the young couple’s age.
“I don’t know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow together,” Bon Jovi said. “My advice really is, growing together is wise.”
Encouraging his son, Bon Jovi continued by stating “I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all.”
Bon Jovi described Millie Bobby Brown as being wonderful. “Her whole family are great. Jake is very, very happy.”
