Right before performing the track “thanK you aIMee,” Swift took to the stage to share her gratitude for performing in front of multiple London crowds.
“I was thinking about getting to play Wembley Stadium,” Taylor Swift was heard saying in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter). “That’s not remotely normal [and] it is so insane for you to [have] done that for me… and for my crew because we get to play Wembley Stadium eight times this summer.”
She continued by stating, “You clearly thought this was a good idea [and] you wanted this to happen. Blows me away. I’ll spend forever trying to thank you for that.”
Taylor Swift then turned her attention to those who criticize and “talk s—“ about her. “On the other hand, it really makes me think about how every time someone talks s–t, it just makes me work even harder and it makes me even tougher. So, it also makes me incredibly thankful for those people.”

She concluded her speech by performing the now-popular diss track. The song is available on her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.
The song is about a “bronze, spray-tanned” bully. “All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’,” the lyrics read. “And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed, ‘F–k you, Aimee,’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’ / But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.”
Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian’s Feud Began Nearly a Decade Ago
Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian’s infamous feud began in 2016. The reality TV star’s then-husband Kanye West rapped about Swift in his song “Famous.”
West reached out to Swift by phone to ask permission to use her name in the song. However, he didn’t ask about referring to her as a “b—“ in the song. She criticized him for doing so.
However, Kardashian made the decision to release an edited version of the phone conversation between West and Swift. This caused backlash against Swift.
Following the drama, Taylor Swift seemingly stepped away from the spotlight. She opened up about the ordeal in her Time Magazine “Person of the Year” interview.
“That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before,” Swift recalled, referring to West and Kardashian. “I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year”
Swift pointed out she was even afraid to get phone calls. Comparing the situation to a “career death” Taylor Swift shared, “I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.”
