In a not-so-shocking development, Tom Brady is now being roasted in a non-comedic way by NFL fans for his “absolutely atrocious” broadcast debut.

The former NFL star made his broadcasting debut for Fox Sports during Week 1’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns. He previously secured a $375 million contract with the network after announcing his retirement for the second time.
Not long into the Week 1 broadcast, Tom Brady made NFL fans near and far cringe with his awkwardness as he spoke to his “partner” Kevin Burkhart.
“We’re here, it’s been quite a journey, but I love being your partner,” Brady told Burkhart.
Burkhart quickly said, “With you coming in the booth, I made sure I did my hair real nice. I figured there’d be some more on-cameras over here today.”
Brady then replied, “I do what they tell me, understand that. I’m still a rookie in here.”

In a separate awkward moment, Tom Brady was seen trying to first bump, Mike Pereira, who was trying to review a play on a separate screen. “Don’t leave me hanging!” Brady told the rules analyst.
NFL Fans Show Tom Brady No Grace While Ripping Into His Broadcast Debut
While continuing to watch Tom Brady during his not-so-successful broadcast debut, NFL fans wasted no time sharing what they really thought of the event.
“TB = Terrible Broadcaster,” one NFL fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Who knew TB would be the king of platitudes and uninteresting comments. And all of this after weeks of ‘intense’ preparation!”
Another NFL fan pointed out that Tom Brady was noticeably nervous. “Lots of long pauses. Honestly, he sounds a bit nervous. Even still, you can already tell we’re watching the beginning of something big big.”
Meanwhile, some NFL fans gave Tom Brady a bit of grace, stating he didn’t do a bad job during his first broadcast.
“I see other comments and don’t get all the negative,” an observer wrote. “I actually really like Brady so far!! He will talk more as he gets into it…but geez I remember other newbie QBs in the booth who never quit talking and were just way too much.”
“He did very well for his first outing, he must have been a bit nervous,” a fellow fan optimistically added. “And it would be a bit emotional to be up there looking down at the field and players. He will grow, improve, develop and evolve into an excellent broadcaster.”
