Tori Spelling is once again uprooting her brood, leaving her neighbors to contend with a “trashed” home reeking of urine. The 51-year-old TV personality reportedly moved out of her luxurious five-bedroom, three-bath rental in the west San Fernando Valley just four months after signing the lease.
One of Spelling’s former neighbors claims the actress and her five kids — Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7 — made a swift exit from their $15,000-a-month home on June 1.
“It’s completely trashed,” Spelling’s former neighbor told The Daily Mail. They also mentioned that a clean-up crew filled a large dumpster multiple times to clear out the house.
“Let’s just say I doubt she’ll be getting her security deposit back,” the beleaguered neighbor quipped. “The smell of urine is everywhere, on the couch cushions and inside the home,” they added. “There are marks all over the walls, from who knows what.”
Photos show pet carriers, furniture, and household items discarded curbside in Los Angeles, where bulk trash pickups can take days. In February, Spelling reportedly paid a $7,500 security deposit upon moving into the fully furnished home.
The Probable Cause of Tori Spelling’s House Reeking of Urine
Fans of the Beverly Hills, 90210 star know the likely cause of the urine smell. Spelling, a well-known animal aficionado, has revealed her eclectic pet collection, including dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, and even a bearded dragon.
Rumor has it, her love for animals went hog-wild—literally—with a pig snoozing in her bed, which allegedly contributed to her split with Dean McDermott.
“I’d be shocked if that covered all the damages,” Spelling’s former neighbor added. “It would cost at least that much to just replace the two couches. And look at all the workers here trying to get it back to they way it was before she moved in.”
The reasons behind Spelling’s decision to break her lease and leave the home remain unclear. The residence, boasting a brand-new pool and spa area with ample space for her family of six, was reportedly relisted for $16,950 per month, nearly $2,000 more than before, despite the alleged mess.
Meanwhile, the McDermotts reportedly accumulated numerous debts throughout their marriage. These include $707,487 to the IRS, $282,655 in California state taxes, and $88,000 and $37,000 to American Express.
She has allegedly consistently avoided paying her bills, while her mother, Candy Spelling, 78, reportedly supports her lavish lifestyle.
When their father, TV producer Aaron Spelling, passed away at 83 from a stroke in 2006, Tori and her younger brother Randy, 45, each inherited around $800,000. Candy Spelling continues to manage her late husband’s fortune, estimated at $600 million.
