While in Philly, Kelce was spotted visiting celebrity barber Willis Orengo just before attending the fundraiser. Orengo posted a snapshot of him with the Chiefs tight end on his Instagram account.
“Not [1] Not [2] but [3] Super Bowl Champion!!!” Orengo wrote in the caption. “When Travis is tired of his own haircut he gets the [Jonas Valanciunas look]. But all jokes aside I got the big yeti clean.”
Travis Kelce responded to Orengo’s post writing, “Lmao the Jonas cut.”
Page Six reports that following his visit to the barber, Travis and Jason Kelce attended the fundraiser held by the family of a young man named Brendan McDermott, who passed away last year after losing his battle with colorectal cancer.
During the event, the Kelce brothers met with numerous firefighters and first responders. They also wore Team Rectify merchandise.
“I’ll just leave this here,” McDermott’s in-law Jess Viola wrote in an Instagram post, which features snapshots of the Kelce brothers. “These two are awesome. I know Brendan is smiling down right now. Some legends wear #teamfectify hats.”
Taylor Swift Thought Travis Kelce Was Funny Months Before They Started Dating
According to Saturday Night Live star Ben Marshall, Taylor Swift thought Travis Kelce was hilarious long before they became a couple.
“We worked with both Taylor and Travis Kelce, like, before they got together,” Marshall said about him, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy during his appearance on Mike Birbiglia’s Working It Out podcast.
“We — and we can cut this out if you guys don’t want to say this — but she kind of told us that she watched his SNL episode and saw him in our video, and was like, ‘Oh, this guy seems funny.’”
Marshall also hinted that his trio Please Don’t Destroy was partially responsible for the couple. “So, like, a little bit [we] brought them together,” he said. “We were like, ‘I think that if then they ever break up, we will somehow be, like, pinned for causing this disaster.’ It’s just a very precarious situation because people have such strong feelings about that.”
Swift previously worked with Please Don’t Destroy in Nov. 2021 when she and Pete Davidson filmed the music video for Three Sad Virgins, a song about the trio. Travis Kelce also worked with the group for a short video when he hosted SNL last year.
