According to Page Six, Kelce sat front row of the Dallas Mavericks versus Minnesota Timberwolves game in the Western Conference Finals. He attended the big game with his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and the quarterback’s wife Brittany.
However, things took a turn when Travis Kelce appeared on the Jumbotron during the game, which caused the stadium to erupt in boos. Kelce obviously shocked by the reaction. The camera then turned its attention to Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, causing the fans to cheer.
Patrick Mahomes then stood up to get the cheering louder. The hilarious moment was caught on video and posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Kelce and Mahomes previously attended the F1 Miami Grand Prix earlier this month. Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is back on her Eras Tour, and currently in Europe. He appeared at numerous Eras Tour shows in Buenos Aires, Sydney, Singapore, and Paris.
The couple has been together since last summer. Their relationship was constantly in the spotlight during the 2023 NFL season, as Swift attended Kelce’s games.
Patrick Mahomes Says He ‘Wants Some Credit’ For Playing ‘Matchmaker’ For Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
While on the Pat McAfee Show last week, Patrick Mahomes stated he wants some form of credit for setting up his teammate and friend Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift.
“I like to take some of the credit, I was the one who invited Travis to his first Taylor concert,” Mahomes stated. He and Kelce attended Swift’s Era Tour stop in Kansas City, Mo. this past July.
“He was sitting in my suite so I feel like I was the matchmaker,” Mahomes pointed out. The famous quarterback further took credit for giving Travis Kelce the confidence to give Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
“I had some input in there as well,” Mahomes noted. “I was like, ‘Dude, just go for it. Go for it.’ And you know, Travis, man. He does it and he’s a great dude and I’m glad it’s all worked out for the best.”
However, Kelce ultimately didn’t get a chance to give the bracelet to Swift. The NFL star got Swift’s attention after blasting her on his New Heights podcast because she doesn’t do meet and greets at her shows.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he said at the time. “So, I was a little butthurt that I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her … She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me … I took it personal.”
