Swifties may have some bad blood after Travis Kelce’s “Kiss, Marry, Kill” game resurfaced, suggesting he’s not Taylor Swift’s forever suitor. In a 2016 Afterbuzz TV interview segment, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end found himself in a tricky game of “Marry, Kiss, Kill.” His challenge? Choosing between Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande for the ultimate decision of wed, obliterate, or smooch.

Sorry, Swifties, it seems the dashing NFL star didn’t see Taylor Swift as marriage material. Kelce hesitated but ended up choosing to terminate Grande, only to then opt to embrace Swift with a kiss and tie the knot with his teenage dream, Perry. Little did he realize that seven years later, he would find himself in a high-profile relationship with the billionaire Pop Queen.
Fans React to Travis Kelce’s Taylor Swift Snub During “Kiss, Marry, Kill”
The resurfaced game of “Kiss, Marry, Kill” might shake some fan’s feelings about Travis Kelce’s intentions with Taylor Swift. However, many Swifties and NFL fans seem to think the footage is sweet, despite his wanting to marry another pop star.
In the resurfaced YouTube video of the game, fans offered their support in the comments. “This interview came in 2016 when everyone hated Taylor for no reason, Travis is the one who liked her and expressed some feelings for her,” one fan gushed. “[The] king of manifestation,” another NFL lover pointed out. “And now he’s actually kissed Taylor,” another fan exclaimed, followed by multiple crying emojis.
However, not everyone was feeling Kelce’s choices. “Bad blood bc he said marry Katy!”, one Swiftie wrote. “Marry Katy Perry of those 3? Ugh. Drama queen extraordinaire,” another Swiftie wrote. “He even knew back then that Taylor is a fun time gal, not a long time gal. At least he won’t have his heart broken when they’re over,” another fan predicted.
The tight end is now happily in a relationship with Taylor and coincidentally met Katy in the VIP tent at the Eras Tour. However, his decision is somewhat ironic considering the past animosity between the two singers in 2016.
Katy and Taylor experienced a well-known falling out, leading Taylor to reportedly write her 2015 song “Bad Blood” about their disagreement. The rift started when Katy allegedly attempted to recruit many of Taylor’s backup dancers and disrupt an entire arena tour. In 2017, Katy appeared to respond to Taylor’s “Bad Blood” with her single “Swish Swish,” rumored to be linked to their ongoing conflict.
