A woman attacked a mother at a Connecticut movie theater after her son accidentally sat in the wrong seat.
Two moviegoers got into it at Cinemark in Manchester, CT, when a child accidentally sat in someone else’s seat. An older woman appeared to become aggressive as she demanded the mother and her kids move immediately.
All the while, the mom was trying to take a moment and gather her children and their things. However, it seemed she wasn’t moving fast enough for this woman’s liking.
In the TikTok video, posted by Erin Walton, you can see the woman provoking the mother, with the two yelling back and forth.
“Move so we can sit in our seats,” the woman said firmly.
In response, the mother said, “I asked you to give me a moment. Take a step back.” She then turns to her children — who appear to be shaken up — and kindly moves them to their respective seats. “All it takes is decorum.”
“I love your gentle voice with your baby, I feel you mommy❤️,” one person commented on the video.
A second user added, “What makes me SICKKKKKK IS NO ONE CAME TO HELP YOU & your precious kids!!!!!! That’s horrific! I wish I was there to stand with you against that evil! I’m so sorry!!!!”

Woman Ticketed After Attacking a Mother at Movie Theater
Walton then shared a second video of the police entering the theater. The mom captioned the video, “Disordely Conduct/ Public Disturbance 🫤 She was removed & ticketed.”
In the clip, she said, “All I needed was a moment. I asked her for a moment to compose myself and gather the kids. I had so much stuff.”
“You dont have to explain yourself!” one person commented. “Say if even you did ignore her, she coulda talked to an employee. The way they attacked you in front of your babies will never be ok or excused! You did great ❤️”
